MYF Football Registration
Our 1st-4th grade SEYFA teams will develop into fundamentally strong young football players, mastering the basics of blocking, tackling, and running with precision. They will also learn sportsmanship and the essence of playing football.
Our 5th-8th grade AAYFL teams will build on SEYFA’s foundation, reinforcing fundamentals while introducing more advanced football skills.
Ages
Open to all players—boys and girls—entering 1st through 8th grade in Fall 2026.
When
The 2026 season begins with mandatory conditioning practices for 1st–4th grade on July 27th. For 5th–8th grade, organized team activities (OTAs) start July 27th, with mandatory conditioning practices beginning August 3rd. Scrimmages for all players are scheduled for August 15th.
Where
Practices are held at Bay Lane Elementary School in Muskego.
Practices
Practice schedules are determined by individual coaches, typically occurring 4 nights per week before the school year starts and 3 nights per week during the school year. 1st and 2nd graders have fewer practice sessions.
Games
Games are scheduled by each league and typically include 7–9 Saturday matchups per season. 1st–4th grade games begin August 22nd, while 5th–8th grade games start August 29th. There are no games on Labor Day weekend. Home games are played at Muskego High School, with away games held at various locations, mainly within the Milwaukee Metro area.
Equipment
MYF registration includes a custom personalized jersey and major essential equipment. Players are responsible for providing their own cleats and mouthguards, and 5th through 8th grade players must also have a white 5-pad girdle.

Early Registration April 7th- May 31st: $350
Late Registration June 1st- June 14th: $400
Volunteering
Each MYF family is required to complete two (2) volunteer slots during the season. As a 100% volunteer-run organization, we rely on parent involvement to keep operations running smoothly. Families may choose to opt out of volunteering during registration for a $300 buyout.
Fundraiser
Each MYF family is required to participate in the fundraiser by selling 20 cards or choosing a $250 buyout option. Families with two or more players are required to sell 30 cards or select a $375 buyout option.
Refund Policy
To request a refund, written notification must be sent to the Board of Directors at BOD@muskegoyouthfootball.com. Refunds are as follows:
• Postmarked on or before July 26th : 100% Refund
• Postmarked July 26th–August 20th: 50% Refund of registration fees (no refund for fundraising)
• Postmarked after August 20th: No Refund
Frequently Asked Questions
Residency Requirements for MYF
• 1st-4th Grade (SEYFA League): No residency or school enrollment restrictions for playing football with MYF.
• 5th-8th Grade (AAYFL League) must either:
- Reside within the Muskego-Norway School District boundaries, or
- Be enrolled in a public or private school within the Muskego-Norway School District for at least two (2) consecutive school years prior to their eligible playing season if residing outside the district.
2026 MYF Football Season
Welcome to Muskego Youth Football!
NEW for 2026: MYF will be providing a personalized custom jersey for each player to keep! All players are required to attend an equipment and uniform fitting session in either late May or mid-June. Specific dates, times, and details will be communicated soon.
Timely registration is critical, as uniform fitting and ordering deadlines have been moved up to ensure uniforms are ready for the season—please register early and help spread the word.
Registration will open in early April at a cost of $350 and will close on May 31. Late registration will run from June 1 through June 14 at a cost of $400, with no extensions beyond that date.
Practices typically begin in late July or early August and are held at Bay Lane Elementary School in Muskego. Practice days and times are determined by each team and grade level, but generally occur four nights per week until school begins and three nights per week once the school year starts.
Games are scheduled by the individual leagues and typically include 7 to 9 games per season, including championships. The game schedule for the first six weeks of the season will be released in early August.
Games for 1st–4th grade begin on August 22, while 5th–8th grade games begin on August 29.
Home games are played at Muskego High School. Away games are held at various locations throughout the Milwaukee metro area. Parents are responsible for transporting their athletes to and from all games.
