Dear Friend,
On behalf of the Muskego Youth Football program (MYF), I would like to extend an invitation to you, your family or company to become a sponsor for our 2020 season. The 2019 football and cheer season was one filled with excitement and growth. We fielded 11 teams with our 1/2 team winning their league championship and both of our 8th grade teams advancing into post season play. As a feeder program to the high school, we all played a small part into the Warriors winning their first Division 1 Football Championship. All of us, including the players, parents, coaches, and volunteers are excited about what the 2019 season may hold.
The MYF organization is committed to giving children in our community the opportunity to participate in football and cheer who otherwise may not be able to, because of financial difficulties. Last year, we were able to provide financial assistance to children in our program through the generous donations of our sponsors. In addition, MYF strives to provide our athletes with the safest, best and most updated equipment and training aids possible. While our registration fees cover our operating costs, donations and sponsorships by our community allow is to do that for our athletes.
What we do is only possible because of the much appreciated donations from our community — from caring individuals and community-focused businesses that share our goal of building strong character and discipline into our most precious asset, the youth of our community. Each of our volunteers and the 400+ families in our program sincerely appreciate all of the sponsors that make this amazing program possible. As always, 100% of your sponsorship dollars benefit the children of the MYF program and your donation is tax deductible. We are recognized as an IRS 501(c)(3) public charity, EIN # 27-3622234, so your sponsorship will be tax deductible.
If providing a sponsorship for the MYF Football Program is an option for you, your family or your company, I encourage you to review the sponsorship information included with this letter and to visit our website at www.muskegoyouthfootball.com to read more about our program. If you prefer, we welcome the chance to work with you to craft a unique recognition package that best serves the interest of your business. Further, we are more than happy to work with you to create other unique marketing opportunities in conjunction with MYF should you so desire.
We greatly appreciate your time and ask you to seriously consider sponsoring the Muskego Youth Football Program. Please feel free to contact us with your questions. You can reach us by e-mail at bod@muskegoyouthfootball.com
Sincerely,
Muskego Youth Football Executive Board of Directors
Where do my sponsorship dollars go?
MYF works to give our athletes the best life experience possible while preparing our kids for cheer, dance and football at the next level. This season we look forward to providing over 400 kids the opportunity to play tackle football and cheer.
For football, we work closely with the Muskego High School Football program in an effort to align our players with expectations in high school. For a fee of $250, each player receives the use of a helmet, shoulder pads, game jersey, football pants with pads, socks, and a mouth guard. Our organization also provides each team with first aid equipment, coaching aids and tools, coaches training, and end-of-the-season awards for each player, among many other benefits. We are continually working to upgrade our helmets and other equipment in an effort to provide the best and safest equipment in our area.
In cheer and dance, we provide a structured environment for our cheer teams to develop teamwork, friendships, and a positive life experience. Our cheer teams spend the first part of the season on the sidelines of home football games in front of crowds of their families and friends, highlighted by halftime performances. After the season, our teams perform in several competitions in the state. We have also started a 'mini' program designed to get our younger cheer and dance girls some experience and exposure to determine if it is something they want to do moving forward.
